About the Role
Astral Vault Co. operates six ventures spanning web design, B2B SaaS, indie games, SEO automation, consumer apps, and apparel. We need a Lead Designer who can build cohesive design systems that scale across all of them — without making everything look the same. You will define how AVC looks, feels, and communicates. From Moon Webdesign client deliverables to OrbitHQ product interfaces to Mercury Falls game aesthetics, your systems will be the visual backbone of the collective.
Responsibilities
- 01Define and maintain the master design system for Astral Vault Collective and its portfolio ventures
- 02Lead UI/UX for new product launches across SaaS, consumer, and web properties
- 03Establish brand guidelines, typography scales, color systems, and component libraries
- 04Collaborate directly with the founder on creative direction and venture positioning
- 05Produce high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and production-ready assets
- 06Review and elevate design output across Moon Webdesign client projects
- 07Build reusable Figma libraries and documentation that other team members can execute against
Requirements
- —5+ years of experience in product design, brand design, or a hybrid role
- —Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking across multiple products or brands
- —Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows
- —Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
- —Experience designing for both marketing sites and SaaS product interfaces
- —Clear visual taste — you know the difference between trendy and timeless
Nice to Have
- —Experience with motion design or micro-interaction prototyping
- —Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or design-to-code handoff workflows
- —Background in agency or studio environments with high output velocity
- —Interest in indie games, narrative design, or interactive media
