Build the technical infrastructure and automation pipelines to scale OrbitHQ and Astral Shard products.

About the Role

OrbitHQ is a ranking-first SEO platform. Astral Shard is the B2B SaaS lab behind it and other sovereign software products. We need a Growth Engineer who sits at the intersection of product engineering and growth systems — someone who builds the pipelines, automations, and infrastructure that turn product features into acquisition loops. This is not a marketing role. This is building the machines that grow the products.

Responsibilities

01Design and implement growth infrastructure: onboarding flows, activation triggers, referral systems, and retention hooks
02Build automation pipelines for SEO content generation, technical audits, and ranking workflows in OrbitHQ
03Develop internal tooling that reduces manual work across the Astral Shard product suite
04Integrate analytics, event tracking, and experimentation frameworks across products
05Optimize signup-to-activation funnels with data-driven iteration
06Collaborate with the founder on product-led growth strategy and technical execution
07Maintain and scale backend services supporting multi-tenant SaaS operations

Requirements

—3+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on SaaS products
—Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks (Next.js, React, Node.js)
—Experience building growth systems: onboarding, email automation, analytics integration, or PLG mechanics
—Comfort with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (Vercel, AWS, or similar)
—Data-minded — you measure what you build and iterate based on evidence
—Ability to ship fast in a small team without waiting for spec documents

Nice to Have

—Experience with SEO tooling, web scraping, or search API integrations
—Familiarity with Stripe, subscription billing, and SaaS monetization patterns
—Background in startup or indie SaaS environments
—Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and automation
